BIO

I received my first professional photography assignment in 1995 and started shooting full time as an editorial freelance photographer in 1999. I gradually built up clients shooting for magazines, in-house agencies, educational institutions and design firms. I have been based out of Denver, Chicago, Santa Fe, Baltimore, and Washington D.C.

My specialties are environmental portraiture, experimental light painting, social documentary work, and landscape photography. Additionally, I teach digital photography at Virginia Tech University. I live in Roanoke, Virginia, with my wife and artist, Amy McCuen-Rehor, and our twelve year old daughter, Leah.
